Deciding between Campaign and Sandbox ultimately comes down to what kind of experience you're looking for. If you're a fan of The Lord of the Rings and crave a structured, story-rich journey, the Campaign mode is your best bet.

The game's campaign is open world and open ended, but that doesn't mean there aren't quests and story missions to go on and complete. Here's how the story, and quests, work in Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord.
