Baelnorn is a Sorcerer Vampire PVE Build for Solo and Group gameplay. This Magicka Sorcerer PVE Build is utilizing the Vampire skill-line and is optimized for Vampire Stage 3. Baelnorn combines the Sorcerer’s Pets and Skills with Vampire active and passive abilities to allow you to complete almost every PVE content.

Magicka Sorcerer Vampire PVE DPS Build Setup

The Build offers different setups, depending on the difficulty of the content you wish to complete but also the gear you wish to wear! Below you can find setups for Trials Group DPS, a No Trial Gear Setup and a Beginner Setup(c160).

Trials Group DPS

This setup is for dedicated group gameplay, is using Trial gear and it aims to achieve the best damage possible. You can also wear Bahsei’s Mania or Mantle of Siroria instead of Whorl of the Depths.

No Trial Gear

No-Trial Gear setup for easier solo/group gameplay that can complete almost every PVE content. This setup is perfect if you do not wish to farm Trials for specific Armor Sets.

Beginner Setup

An effective gear setup that will help you play as a Magicka Sorcerer Vampire early in the game!

• Arterial Burst(Eviscerate): Main offensive skill/spammable.
• Crystal Fragments(Crystal Shard): A skill with insane burst damage that also helps with sustain.
• Endless Fury(Mages’ Fury): Execute Ability. Use it when enemy is below 20% Health.
• Summon Twilight Tormentor(Summon Winged Twilight): Our Pet. When playing solo you can replace it with the Summon Twilight Matriarch(Summon Winged Twilight) morph for heals.
• Bound Aegis(Bound Armor): Slotted the Max. Magicka bonus. No need to activate it when fighting.
• Flawless Dawnbreaker(Dawnbreaker): Secondary Ultimate, good against multiple enemies.
• Unstable Wall of Elements(Wall of Elements): Great AOE shock damage that sets concussed enemies off balance and explodes for more damage at the end.
• Barbed Trap(Trap Beast): Additional DOT damage but we are mainly using it for the boost to our Critical Damage.
• Simmering Frenzy(Blood Frenzy): Great boost to Spell Damage at the cost of Health.
• Structured Entropy(Entropy): Deals good Magic Damage and heals. Replace with Critical Surge(Surge) for Solo gameplay.
• Summon Charged Atronach(Summon Storm Atronach): One of our Ultimates. Deals Shock damage, sets enemies concussed and grants Major Berserk to allies.

• Passive: Eldritch Insight, Piercing, Flawless Ritual, War Mage, Precision, Quick Recovery, Hardy, Elemental Aegis, Preparation, Blessed, Tireless Discipline

Craft

• Slottable Stars: Rationer, Liquid Efficiency, Master Gatherer, Steed’s Blessing
• Passive: Gilded Fingers, Fortune’s Favor, Wanderer, Steadfast Enchantment, Treasure Hunter(slottable, required for path)

The Thief to boost Critical Chance.

What Race is Best for Magicka Sorcerer Vampire PVE Build

High Elf – Dark Elf – Khajiit – Breton are the best options for a DPS focused Build. Any Race with Magicka bonuses can work well though. You can find more about the playable races in my ESO Race Guide!

Vampire or Werewolf

Vampire Stage 3 at least.

Rotation for Magicka Sorcerer Vampire PVE DPS Build

Drink a potion, cast Barbed Trap, Simmering Frenzy, attack with Unstable Wall of Elements, Summon Twilight Tormentor(while the enemy’s HP is above 50%), Structured Entropy or Critical Surge(when solo), switch bars and continue with Arterial Burst as your spammable. Keep attacking with Arterial Burst and re cast the other skills when necessary. Always use Crystal Fragments when it procs. When the enemy’s Health drops below 20% replace Arterial Burst with Endless Fury. Activate your Ultimate when ready and always Light Attack before every skill to boost your damage.
